~Skoy Cloth Review and Giveaway~

I try my best to decrease my carbon footprint on the earth.  I always have twice as much recycling as I do trash, I use cloth diapers and wipes, and cloth napkins.  I know there are a few other things I can do, and using less paper towels is one thing I’ve been working on.  That’s why I was excited to try Skoy Cloth!  Skoy cloth is made from 100% natural cotton and wood-pulp cellulose.  It’s chlorine free, non-toxic and best of all reusable!

I received a package from Skoy and was pleased that the packaging was minimal.  Just a tie around the cloth and a card explaining the use and care.   Skoy cloth comes in a package of assorted colors which are made using water-based inks.  I have been using Skoy cloth for everything!  Here’s how I used it in my kitchen:

Washing dishes, wiping countertops, cleaning the microwave, andcleaning my stainless steel appliances

Skoy cloth is easy to use, and so much better than a paper towel!  You wet the cloth before using it and squeeze out the excess water.  Now, you would think wetting it, it wouldn’t be absorbent, or it would leave streaks, but it doesn’t!  I usually use paper towels to clean mirrors and windows, so I thought I’d try cleaning my bathroom mirror with Skoy cloth.  I think the pictures tell it all!  I wet the Skoy cloth, sprayed the mirror with homemade glass cleaner, wiped it with the Skoy cloth, then let it dry!  Voila!  Clean mirror, no streaks, and no fuzzies from a paper towel!
Dirty mirror (eww, gross!)

Clean mirror (yay!)

So here’s the good part!  Skoy cloth sent me an extra set to giveaway!  Here’s how to enter!

Love that this is a product made by moms! Moms that are using their time at home while their kids are at school to help their families and the rest of us.
So great.

I think these would live in my bathrooms. I seem to only use paper towels in those areas anymore!

I am a GFC follower, Melissa Harris. I went to their website and was amazed to know that 1 Skoy cloth is equal to 15 rolls of Paper Towels. Plus I can clean it in my dishwasher! maeg.harris(at)gmail(dot)com.

Hi, I learned that after a SKOY cloth has passed its prime, it can be used as a rag for heavier cleaning.

I'd use the Skoy cloth mainly in the kitchen to clean the counters.

I would use Skoy cloth all over my house for cleaning! I have the worst time getting my counters to not have a film on them - maybe this would do it.
